KrisFlyer Lounge Terminal 3 Guide

KrisFlyer Lounge Terminal 3 Guide

Singapore Changi Airport is not only one of the most important hubs in global civil aviation, but it is also well known for the premium ground services offered by Singapore Airlines. Following the major renovation project completed in 2022 with an investment of 34 million dollars, the lounges in Terminal 3 have reached a world class level of comfort. The lounges at Singapore Changi Airport allow transit passengers to relax comfortably while waiting for their next flight. With rich dining options, comfortable seating, shower facilities, high speed Wi Fi, and many other amenities, your waiting time at the airport becomes truly valuable. In this guide, you will find everything you need to know about the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge and the more premium SilverKris Lounge in Terminal 3.

Location and Access Rules

Singapore Airlines lounges in Terminal 3 are located on Level 3 after passport control. The KrisFlyer Gold Lounge is situated just to the left of Central Immigration and can be reached via the escalators along the corridor leading toward Gates A.

The access hierarchy is as follows:

KrisFlyer Gold Lounge is designed for KrisFlyer Elite Gold and Star Alliance Gold members traveling in Premium Economy or Economy Class on Singapore Airlines or Star Alliance flights.

SilverKris Business Class Lounge is available for Business Class passengers and PPS Club members.

Important Guest Policy. As of 2022, guests accompanying eligible passengers must be traveling on the same flight on the same day in order to access the lounge.

KrisFlyer Gold Lounge. A Modern Experience

The renovated KrisFlyer Gold Lounge is now twice the size of its previous version and offers a much more spacious and airy design. Taking advantage of Terminal 3’s open architecture, the lounge features large windows with natural daylight and apron views, creating a modern and relaxing atmosphere.

Dining Options

The lounge offers a rich buffet with both hot and cold dishes available throughout the day. Highlights include:

Signature Laksa. A do it yourself Laksa station where guests can prepare their own bowls. This is one of the most popular features of the lounge.

Dim Sum and Asian Cuisine. Freshly steamed har gow and siu mai, along with options like barbecue chicken buns and fried wings.

Beverages. Tiger beer on tap or in cans, a selection of spirits, and world famous TWG teas are available.

Facilities and Shower Amenities

Unlike its counterpart in Terminal 2, the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge in Terminal 3 includes its own restrooms and shower suites. There are three shower rooms, and towels along with basic toiletries are provided. For those who need to work, there are shared tables with wireless charging stations, as well as universal power sockets and USB ports at every seat.

SilverKris Business Class Lounge. A Premium Experience

If you are flying Business Class or are a PPS Club member, the SilverKris Lounge in Terminal 3 offers a significantly enhanced experience. With a capacity of approximately 1,150 passengers, this large space is divided into different zones to suit various needs.

Sleeper Area

One of the standout features of the SilverKris Lounge is the Sleeper Area introduced in 2022. This section includes 14 semi private reclining seats known as slumberettes. No reservation is required, and pillows and blankets can be requested from the staff.

Live Cooking and Shower Suites

In addition to the buffet, the lounge features live cooking stations where chefs prepare dishes such as prawn noodles or pasta on demand. In the evenings, a professional bar serves cocktails. The lounge also includes 15 fully equipped shower suites with bidet toilets.

Traveler Tip. Terminal 2 or Terminal 3

Singapore Airlines operates flights from both Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. However, in terms of comfort, the lounges in Terminal 3 are clearly superior. For example, the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge in Terminal 2 does not offer restrooms or showers, while Terminal 3 provides full modern facilities. Even if your flight departs from Terminal 2, it is recommended to take the SkyTrain to Terminal 3 if you have enough time and enjoy the lounges there. Terminal 3 lounges are open 24 hours a day.

How to Access a Lounge if You Are Not Flying with Singapore Airlines

As mentioned above, access to these lounges is limited to KrisFlyer Elite Gold and Star Alliance Gold members traveling in Premium Economy or Economy Class on Singapore Airlines or Star Alliance flights. However, do not worry, as there are excellent alternative lounges in both Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 that offer a comparable experience.
